This bite size breakfast session will provide an overview of national themes and summarise the background and context to local SCRs and Learning Lessons reviews for Kingston & Richmond. The session will identify key learning and highlight areas for practice improvement.

  Learning Outcomes:

 By the end of the session participants will have:

  • Considered lessons from national & local Serious Case Reviews, Learning Lessons Reviews and the implications for practice in Kingston & Richmond
  • Examined information sharing in a multi-agency context
  • Gained an understanding of roles and responsibilities of organisations and practitioners in effective collaboration to safeguard children and young people
  • Considered barriers to taking learning into practice
