This introductory, 2-hour training session will give you an introduction to the theory of attachment and how trauma can influence a child and adults ability to form and maintain relationships. The training will briefly cover how a secure attachment between a child and carer develops and how trauma can change the way our brain manages stress. We will briefly look at the basic concepts of the Dynamic Maturational Model of Attachment (Pat Crittenden).
