This course is for staff who have previously completed Level 2 and Level 3 safeguarding courses and are required to refresh their knowledge and skills. This training session will refresh understanding delegates about the processes involved with child protection procedures, including statutory assessment.

Please note that if you are booking from Education Services or from outside the Boroughs of Richmond and Kingston there will be a booking fee of £60

This course is for staff who have previously completed Level 2 and Level 3 safeguarding courses. It is recommended that Designated Safeguarding Leads within schools refresh their Level 3 knowledge every two years and other organisations it is anticipated colleagues update their level 3 every three years.

 

  Aim:

 

This course will focus on good practice and lessons learned in multi-agency child protection providing participants with an understanding of the function and processes of child protection.

  Learning Outcomes:

 This course will enable participants to:

  • Demonstrate their own knowledge and understanding of safeguarding children
  • Give examples of current developments in safeguarding practice and relate this to their own role
  • Describe their refreshed knowledge of relevant Child Protection policies and procedures
  Minimum Requirements:

 Participants mut have completed Level 2 and Level 3 safeguarding courses.
